Neurofeedback session with EEG cap

Calm mind. Fast driver.

I help young drivers develop physical strength, mental stability and peak concentration using scientifically proven neurofeedback training.

Coach at Red Bull Ring

Intro

I have been in sport for over 50 years and have devoted my entire life to developing drivers. I have a proven track record of improving drivers in a short period of time.

In my youth I was a 2-time Croatian wrestling champion and vice champion of Yugoslavian wrestling championship with over 150 competitors in my category!

I hold an associate degree from faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb as a certified trainer for motorsport.

30-year motorsport career. I placed one driver to the official Red Bull Junior Program (youngest in history) and have a track record improving every driver I ever worked with!

I focus primarily on mental preparation, supported by my own proven methods of physical training.

I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Formula 1 coaches, which gave me a clear framework for working with drivers from their earliest days and systematically tailoring methods to their development.

Coaching Philosophy

  • Holistic approach: the driver’s health and long-term sustainability come first.
  • Individualization: I tailor every session to the driver’s age, character, and goals.
  • Mental strength first: focus, self-confidence, and decision-making under pressure.
  • Structure and continuity: clear plans, measurable steps, and feedback after every session.

Tools to build consistency under pressure

Mindset and focus are the core of my program, reinforced with professional neurofeedback equipment to train calm, clarity, and decision-making under stress. I also apply decades of experience with tailored visualization and meditation protocols, plus targeted autosuggestion programming, to hard-wire consistent performance in every driver.

Body & Fitness

Programs are tailored to the specific physical demands of karting, F4, and F1—built around each driver’s unique body, with special care for health and progressive development from the earliest age, including dedicated work on motor skills, coordination, and reflexes. Recovery is treated as training’s equal: we plan rest, mobility, and injury-prevention alongside strength, stamina, reaction training, and neuromuscular speed to sustain peak performance.

Neurofeedback training

I offer neurofeedback training tailored for Formula 4 and elite karting drivers, using non-invasive EEG to teach the brain steadier focus and quicker reactions. I run short feedback blocks and immediately transfer the state into driving with simulator laps (and on-track when available). I track progress with objective metrics—focus stability, reaction-time variability, HRV—and review results with each driver. Over a focused 4–6 week block, my drivers gain sharper starts, cleaner decision-making, and more consistent lap-to-lap performance.

Pedagogical approach for young children

Training young children (ages 4–8) is the hardest part of the job, because their focus is short, their energy is everywhere, and you only get a few real learning moments each session. I’m very good at capturing that attention, keeping them engaged, and turning play into structured movement without them even noticing they’re “training.” At this age we build the fundamental motor patterns: balance, coordination, reaction, spatial awareness, body control — this is the base that everything later sits on. If you are serious about a future in high-level racing, including Formula 1, that foundation must start now, not at 12 or 14 when most people finally wake up.
